The Perfect 7-Ingredient Key Lime Pie

Pie Ingredients One can (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk Two whole egg yolks 1/4 cup sour cream  

Two tsp finely grated zest from Key limes 1/3 cup of fresh Key lime juice One unbaked graham cracker crust, homemade or purchased from the store  

Assembly & Topping Two cups of chilled heavy cream Two tablespoons of sugar, grated One tablespoon of finely grated lime zest Cuts of lime, for serving  

Directions Pie Center a rack in oven and preheat to 350°. To blend milk, egg yolks, and sour cream, use a handheld mixer on medium-high speed in a large bowl. Beat in lime zest and juice until blended.  

Pour lime mixture into graham cracker crust. Bake pie for 15 minutes until crust is browned and aromatic, filling puffs, and center is jiggly.  

After cooling 30 minutes, refrigerate until cold, at least 2 hours or overnight.  

Top and Assemble Beat cream and sugar in a large basin with a handheld mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.  

Top pie with lime zest, slices, and whipped cream.
